Chopper 2 revolutionised the way we play games as it enabled the player to control their helicopter wirelessly using their iPhone and iPod Touch. However, the developers over at EUROCENTER have taken it a step further with Macbook accelerometer controls in Cocoto Kart Online on the Mac App Store.
Cocoto Kart Online is a Mario Kart-like racer for Mac and the developers have implemented a accelerometer control system. This means that to turn with this enabled, you must tilt your Macbook sideways (iMacs are unable to take part in this control method). Thankfully Cocoto Kart Online includes some normal keyboard controls when your arms get too tired.
I’m not sure, but I don’t think this type of control scheme will catch on. It may just be me…
