Whilst it’s not been officially confirmed, the rumour mill is almost certain that Apple have their sights set on a Wednesday July 25th release. Why? Because reports state that Apple have planned overnight work for staff on the 24th. Mountain Lion brings 200 new features to the Mac OS, many of which are modified from the iPad system. This includes Reminders, Notification Center and Messages.
Developers have already had their hands on the new OS X for a few weeks now, getting their app approved for Mountain Lion before release to help Apple’s review team cope with the flood of app updates
