Tiny Thief was first picked up at GDC as a cute little 2D platformer/point-and-click adventure where you interact with your catoony environment to get past guards, sheriffs, circus acts and more to reach the shiny treasure. The creative use of environmental puzzles remind me a little of the Hapland games, with a cutesy art-style and hopefully not the murderously difficult puzzles.
The game will include 30 missions in all, grouped into 5 stories. There are 35 unique characters, from rolling pin-weilding chefs to native indians donning painted masks and sharp spears. Definitely check out the trailer below. Tiny Thief is certainly a game to keep an eye on. It’s set to release around June/July time, just after the game’s release on the iPad.
